During the October membership meeting, Community One awarded 12 neighbors with money, totaling $7,900 to implement programs to improve our neighborhood.
These projects help further the Tepe Park Quality of Life Plan, the revitalization initiative based on the needs voiced by our neighbors. (Click here to read the Quality of Life Plan)
This year’s awardees range in age from 10 to over 60 years old.
The projects include: Neighborhood little libraries Tree planting initiative within the neighborhood 5-foot tall tree sculpture Plant-and-pick flower garden with yard art Large community mural Neighborhood video story After-school youth program
